Date format
Hi,
I am having trouble with excel reading my date properly...
I have entered the date in the cell as 01/10/18 (1st Oct 2018) but when I try and change the format to show 01/10/2018, its reading it backwards and changing it to 18/08/2001... can someone please tell me what Im doing wrong as I used the exact same template for trial data and it worked perfect!

KathyKBooks Check the regional settings on your computer (PC, I presume). It seems to be set to take dates in the yyyy/mm/dd format. Mine is set to dd/mm/yyyy and when I enter 01/10/18 it defaults to 1 Oct 2018.
