Check if you've recently had a Microsoft Office update to Version 2408. We found reverting to Version 2407 (or earlier) resolved the issue.

Hi, I tried to revert to Version 2407 following https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-revert-to-an-earlier-version-of-office-2bd5c457-a917-d57e-35a1-f709e3dda841 but I keep getting this error message:

What steps did you follow to go back to an earlier version? Thank you!

  Microsoft recently rolled out version 2408 to the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel despite this huge bug. Are there any suggested fixes to this issue now it will be impacting a large number of enterprise customers!?
