I created a drop down using Data Validation and need to know if there is a limit to the list items? IF so, is ther a work around? I need to have
If you mean text length for the items, when 254 characters.

Not the Excel cell is limited, only the input field for the list.

You write the list one below the other in a free area, e.g. in from J28 down to J38.
Without a comma.
In the data validity you then state as "source"
= $ J $ 28: $ J $ 38
