data validation rules
If I am not the creater of the excel speadsheet my group is using can I still change data in a drop down box, or remove the restrictions all together
Ericmt70 If the workbooks isn't protected in some way you should be able to remove the Data Validation rule. You'll find it on the Data ribbon under Data Tools.
