Data validation problem

Question

In Office 365 my student cannot create a dropdown menu using Data Validation. When choosing Settings &gt; Allow &gt; List, the Source field will not accept a range of values (for example =$B$4:$B$8). This entry gives an error message "The formula you entered is not valid."

Depends on where do you keep your file. For OneDrive or SharePoint it shall work.

I am having the same issue, error code "The formula you entered is not valid.". I believe that is will work if I download and do it off line and upload but that is so much extra work (I have like 15 of these reports to do this with. trodgers&nbsp;
