Data Extraction

So forgive my ignorance in advance as I'm new when it comes to using Excel formulas.  I know the basics, but now I'm needing to use more advanced features for my job.  Right now I have a column of data which contains medical procedures mixed in with dates.  I need to remove all the dates and any other irrelevant info and narrow down my column to just the medical procedure names.  The problem is that they are not all formatted the same.  Here are some examples and what info I need to extract:

09/19/14 MAMMOGRAM - I just need "Mammogram"

1/13/15 - C-Spine X-Ray - Chava - I just need "C-Spine X-Ray"

2/2/15 - RT WRIST X-RAY - CHAVA - I just need "RT WRIST X-RAY"

EGD/Conoloscopy Pathology Report/ 12/11/2013 - I just need "EGD/Conoloscopy Report

unless you have a "dictionary" of medical terms to be referenced -
it would be very difficult to extract any word from a string with no definite patterns.
