Dark Mode
Microsoft recently announced the availability of a dark mode for Excel - https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoft365insiderblog/reduce-eye-strain-with-dark-mode-in-excel-for-windows/4268752 - I use Excel 2019. I noticed that the option to enable dark mode is now available in this version, but when I click the button, nothing happens. Does anyone know if this mode is only available in the Microsoft 365 version of Excel?
It must be a glitch that the Dark Mode button is displayed in your version of Excel. It is not even available to ordinary Microsoft 365 users yet - only to beta testers.
Holy Crap. Thanks for the info. It's really a shame. Do you know if there are plans to make it available for this version of Office?
It will never be added to Excel 2019, only to Excel in Microsoft 365 and perhaps in a future version of perpetual license Office.
