Thanks for the input. I see where my mistake occurred.
It seems that indenting is not available in conditional formatting - might try a simple macro instead.

pls find attached revised file.
I changed it to indent 2 spaces (you may change that in Manage rules)
I also provided a VBA - hope you can make something out of it.
