cursor auto jump upon input attempt
what feature can I turn off to nullify my cursor automatically jumping to a different cell when I attempt to imput a number into a cell? Why is it jumping?

Lock was the issue. why does excel NOT inform me of the # lock when I
attempt to enter a #? Thanks for taking the time to help.
