Ctrl F brings up debug window instead of find
Sometimes when I have the same excel file open for hours, when I press ctrl f it brings up the debug function instead of the find menu. When I close excel and reopen the file, the normal ctrl f funct...
Are any of the files you are opening .xlsm files?
Do you have any addins installed?
Also try pressing Alt + F11 to see if the PERSONAL.XLSB workbook has any modules in it
I always thought ctrl+f works only on web/pdf. I'm using ctrl+shift+t (Italy) to open the find menu; in English systems may be ctrl+shift+f?
For English version that's Ctrl+F
CTRL+F
Displays the Find and Replace dialog box, with the Find tab selected.
SHIFT+F5 also displays this tab, while SHIFT+F4 repeats the last Find action.
CTRL+SHIFT+F opens the Format Cells dialog box with the Font tab selected.
