I've been trying to save a file on excel as a csv file, but whenever i click on save as, it does not give me an option on the type of file I want to save it as. How can i rectify this issues?

If you select File > Save As:
If you click More options:
Import CSV in Excel, select Data→Get Data→From Text/CSV, adjust the column format and then load it.
