Creating/generating simple codes (cyphers) for kids using Excel

Just in case this is new to you, I used LAMBDA and LET to create a personal "named function" Let2Num which you can see in the Name Manager dialog box.

 

If you're able to share a description of that "something else" you're working on I'd love to hear it. I might be able to use that.

Hi Mathetes, thank you for your latest message. I just love anything that introduces cyphers etc. to youngsters - and I'm thinking your work puts another version/method my way that I can work on. I'm also trying to learn some of the more 'unusual' functions/formulas in Excel, and finding out much more just how useful Excel is at all sorts of things other than just spreadsheets - which is all I've ever really used it for in the past.
