Creating an Access Table from an Excel Worksheet with only one 55 character Column
- Jul 08, 2023
When I moved all of the programs over, they all bombed.
Vba program? how did you move it?
copy the only one .accdb file to flash disk and paste to your Win11 from the flash disk .
Or send email attachment.
You have a VBA program already?
I am trying to create a new access database, however the option does not show New Database when I open Access.
We have download seven office products from Office 2003 to Office 365. After we download, every one of them keep saying Access 2007, do you know why?
A lot of people thought it was a scam, so I called Bank of America and all of the charges showed Microsoft, so if it is a scam it is a good one.
I am trying to work with Access 2019 and Access 2013. The hospital hired two retired Microsoft employees who were software engineers and they told management to stay away from Office 365.
So in short we have a lot of computers for the smaller rural hospitals who cannot afford upgrades.
I am also pretty new to Access which is also a concern.
Thanks

just cannot get the one column worksheet into the access table
If possible, upload your .xlsx file for test.
I am confued about below:
but the name of the image never exceeds 55 characters.
- Len_LaneJul 07, 2023Copper ContributorI brought the programs over from a 2010 office to my friends Office 365 and all of the programs bombed.
On the Dim dbp as DAO.Database, I get a
User-defined Type Not Defined,
I must have missed something,
What did I goof up on now.
Thanks Again
Old NASA Kid- peiyezhuJul 08, 2023Bronze Contributorif possible, upload and share you .accdb or .mdb file.
Also, please screenshot what happened on your side.- peiyezhuJul 08, 2023Bronze ContributorIs the name of your .accdb file database.accdb (you created the file from desktop shortcut?).
If so,rename database.accdb to myImgDb.accdb and try again.
- Len_LaneJul 03, 2023Copper ContributorThat is the size of my text field description of the blood image. This is what I defined in my access table.
Thanks for the assistance- Len_LaneJul 03, 2023Copper ContributorSeveral Office copies should be available, we downloaded several and cannot find where the were put on the disk drives.
According to Bank of America we paid for them three times. I like the older way of sending them on CD's or flash drives, this download is just too confusing.. I have never heard of eqlite.
Thanks for your concern
