Create multiple choice sheet to give multiple outcome answers
Hi, I am looking to create an interactive sheet that allows me to indicate to employees how to set up certain paint flow scenarios. I am trying to use 15 different inputs (tanks of paint) to g...

Hi Chris, This sounds really interesting and probably possible but we would need a lot more information about the set up and the intended result. So you have 15 possible inputs/starting points and 3 end points but how many valves? are the valves fixed? Do all valves service all 15 inputs? are there limits on number of inputs at one time? could 1 input be 'opened' to multiple valves? What is the logic for determining the valve states?
If you are just interested in concepts I could see you having tanks, valves and buckets in fixed cells and then have some input cells. Then I would use some helper cells somewhere to do all the logic calculations. And then finally use Conditional formatting to highlight the fixed 'grid' of tanks, valves, and buckets (and maybe having adjacent cells populated with instructions ('ON'/'OFF" or the like).
