Count the % of win on the white side for each type of strategy used in chess game
Hello everyone and sorry if the question sounds messy :
I have a spreadsheet with chess games with a column called "winner" (either black or white) and a column called "opening". I want to get what is the best opening for the white and the black, so I want to know the % of time each opening won and not how much it has been used.
I thought I could use a pivot table but I just can't find a way to turn it around to get what I want.
Do you have any idea?
An alternative could be Power Query. In the attached file you can enter winners and openings in in the blue dynamic table. Then you can click in any cell of the green table and right-click with the mouse. Then you can select refresh to update the green result table.
