Count multiple names in a column
I need to get a count of how many times the same email address appears in a column; but not just the one email address, over 1,000 email addresses that total over 80,000 rows. I need a count for each email and am struggling with the Countif formula. Seems so simple! What am I missing?
Email address (over 1,000 individuals) in one column - need to count how many times they appear (small example):
mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons
mailto:abc@gmail .com = 30
mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons = 350

One option is to create a pivot table based on the data. Add the email field to both the Rows area and the Values area.
