Count Dates in Month
I've been trying formulas online but cannot get them to work. https://www.spreadsheetweb.com/count-month/
I want to count the number of times a UK date appears for each month
| Count | ||||
| 01/01/2023 | January | 2 | ||
| 01/01/2023 | February | 1 | ||
| 01/02/2023 |
Please advise
=COUNTIFS($A$2:$A$4,"<="&EOMONTH(C2,0),$A$2:$A$4,">"&EOMONTH(C2,-1))This formula returns the intended result in my sheet. The values in cells C2 and C3 are 01.01.2023 and 01.02.2023 which are formatted as "mmmm".
