Copying a table on Excel, keeping the formatting
Trying to Copy a special table several times on one page, but table formatting doesn't carry over to the copy. What am I doing wrong?

Hard to know. It would help with a diagnosis if you tell us what DOES carry over...e.g., is it everything but the formatting?
I have a situation where I copy what I suppose could be called a special table to a different spot. I always use "Paste Special" but I use it twice.
1. First time, Paste Special ... Values and number formats
2. Second time (without needing to re-do the Copy command, by the way), Paste Special...Formats
Maybe those two steps will work for you.
If not, come back with a more complete description of (a) the context, and (b) what DOES happen.
- SergiorylCopper ContributorThanks! I had trouble getting the Paste function to give these options. Finally, for what reason I do not know, additional options become available. I had to select the same number of row and columns as my original in order to paste the table on the spreadsheet, then pressed the paste: format special, then paste: keep column widths from source. It worked 2 or three times. Then when trying it the 4th time down below the original, for some reason it decreased the row height from 1" to .2". I had to increase the row height on that copy back to 1". I than made copies and pasted that as my original 2 or 3 times next to it using the method above.
I can't figure out why I didn't originally get more paste options, but glad they finally showed up.
Sure appreciate the help!!
