"Convert to number" stays at the top of the column
OK. So I have a column of exported data that is a list of numbers stored as text as indicated by the triangle in the top left corner of the cell. So I select the first cell (row 2) and CTRL+down arr...
When you have selected the cells:
- Set the Number Format to General or Number.
- On the Data tab of the ribbon, click Text to Columns, then click Finish without changing any setting.
