Control R and Control D not working correctly
This just started with Excel a couple of day ago. When I place a formula in a cell at the right end cell or at the bottom cell of a column works just fine. However when I highlight the bottom cells along the columns and hit "Control R" the results in the columns are the same as the first column. If you highlight the columns just filled with "Control R" you find that the columns have the correct formulas inserted but the cells are not reading the column. I'm sure it's a setting I have changed my mistake but I can find it.
Little help?

Hi Jeff,
Sorry, didn't catch what the issue is exactly. Ctrl+D fills down, Ctrl+R fills right, both works correctly and to my knowledge there are no settings to change behaviour.
Please check this https://www.desktoptrainingacademy.com/excel-ctrl-d-ctrl-r-keyboard-shortcuts-for-your-daily-workflow/ if you use them correctly
- DeletedYes they do copy correctly but even though the formula are correct it is like the spreadsheet is not reading the formula

Jeff, if you mean it's not calculates by formula please check if in File->Options->Formulas you have selected Automatic mode of calculation
