Connecting sheets that are shared?
Is it possible to share a file that someone is forced to make a copy of and still pull data to a master sheet? I have a data-tracker that I want to share with some students. They will be forced to download a copy of the file to fill in their own data. Is there a way I can still pull data from the new files that are created?

There are two possibilities,
- From Review tab, in the Changes group, click the Share Workbook button.
- The Share Workbook dialog box will appear,
- Select the Allow changes by more than one user at the same time. This also allows workbook merging check box on the Editing tab.
- Optionally, switch to the Advanced tab, then select the desired settings for tracking changes, and click OK.
- Save you Excel file to a network location where other people can access it.
Second is,,
- Make copy of Master file, and share over the cloud, ONE Drive or Google Drive.
- Collect after are been edited.
- Compare files and if required merge them.
