Connect to a postgresql database

Hello

 

I am using Office 365 and I am trying to connect to a postgresql database, but it does not work.

I get the following error message

' postgresql database this connector requires one or more additional components'

 

I strange, because it connects beautifully on PowerBI, but on excel it doesn't want to work.

    Power Query Online, for Power BI Desktop and for Excel are bit different. Some functionality available in one version could be not available for others. In particular,

    Power Query PostgreSQL connector | Microsoft Docs

    I guess same for Excel (have no practical experience with PostgreSQL), you must install the NpgSQL provider on your local machine.

      SergeiBaklan That's the point.  The provide is installed and yet, Excel 365 throws the same message over and over again.
