Conditional Formatting Rules

See attached. Note that I removed the trailing space you had in "Table P " in the dropdown list.

Thank you so much for this, any idea how i can do it so it works for the whole columns? It only works for row 4 at the moment. Thanks again

On the Home tab of the ribbon, select Conditional Formatting > Manage Rules...
Select 'This Worksheet' from the 'Show formatting rules for' drop-down.
You'll see:
Edit the 'Applies to' range for both rules:

Is it possible for me to change the rule so the columns do the opposite, as in they are initially greyed out but become available when the drop down is selected? Currently they appear greyed out when the option is selected. Hope that makes sense- HansVogelaarOct 07, 2024MVP
See the attached version. I created 2 rules for V3:V10000 and 2 rules for W3:W10000.
