Conditional Formatting Rule
I want to know if it is possible to create a rule for a cell to change colors only if the value is a specific number, but the color can only change when another cell contains a specific text. For ...
Do you mean cells A1 and D1?
Select D1 (or a range in column D starting in D1).
On the Home tab of the ribbon, click Conditional Formatting > New Rule...
Select 'Use a formula to determine which cells to format'.
Enter the formula
=AND(A1="Payout", D1=0)
Click Format...
Activate the Fill tab.
Select red as highlight color.
Click OK, then click OK again.
