Conditional Formatting Keeps Overwriting
Hi,
I am using a pivot table but this issue exists without a pivot table. When I refresh the data or make any changes, it changes the applies to. I want to lock this down so the client won't be irritated with the formatting changes. The formulas look fine and it is really just the applies to that gets out of whack. Does anyone have any hints? The data is refreshed by Power Query so it will change daily and it doesn't seem practical to continually fix this.

CF rules that are set to be part of a pivot table will change the "Applies to" by design: they are supposed to grow and shrink with the size of the Pivot table/field in question

Ok but the rows and columns are changing (size or range) but merely the data reflected in them. That is what is confusing me. I could see if you are changing the size of the pivot table but not the underlying values. Thanks
