Conditional formatting help

Hi there. I'm looking for some help please.

I am using a data set and have put this into a pivot table. I was to use conditional formatting to highlight when a particular cell is higher, lower, or the same value as the cell beside it.

I've managed to get it to work with the first cell (E6).

How do I ensure this works all the way down the sheet without having to do a formula for every cell?

So for example, I want E7 (105) to highlight depending  on the value in cell D7 and so on...

Select E6:E50 or however far down the data extend.

E6 should be the active cell in the selection.

When you create the conditional formatting rule, make sure that you refer to D6, and not to D$6 or $D$6.
