Conditional formatting help
Hi,
Can someone help explain why the conditional formatting formula is not working?
I am highlighting column K to apply a conditional format to ensure the font turns red if the following formula is applied =AND($A2="Open",$K2<$Q$1). This formatting is being applied to K:K.
Column A consists of data validation of Open and Closed only.
Column K is a date
Cell Q1 is =today()
I feel that this is taking far longer to resolve than it needs to.

Amy86 When you apply CF to an entire column, you need to point to A1 and K1 in the AND function.
Alternatively, change the applied range to $K$2:$K$20000 or somethin large enough to capture all your data.
