Comands not visible under some tabs unless I select arrow
The Alignment tab does not display the various commands like wrap text unless I select the arrow under alignment. I found that I am supposed to have a “Ribbon Display Options” arrow in the upper right corner of Excel, but I do not have this arrow. How do I restore this arrow? This is also true of the Number tab.

I have "always show ribbon checked. That does not help my problem.
This depends on the width of the workbook window.
If the window is very narrow, most tabs will be collapsed to drop-down lists:
As you increase the width, more and more groups will be expanded:
The recent addition of Copilot reduced the space for the rest of the ribbon.
For some reason, my question is not being published. I just want to know how to increase the width of the workbook window. I have tried window key plus arrows, and nothing happens.
I suspect that new replies are only becoming visible to others with a long delay.
I see now that your workbook window is already maximized, so it cannot be enlarged. Apparently your screen is rather small. So you'll have to live with it.
