Close, resize and minimize buttons not visible, but functional. Excel 2019
I've tried all recommendations to make the buttons visible including doing a reinstall. Still having the problem. The rest of the top bar is visible. Any ideas?
As the buttons still receive clicks, test the Excel window under a different display path before changing Office again. Disconnect any secondary display, set Windows scaling temporarily to 100%, and reopen Excel with its window maximised. If the buttons reappear, restore the preferred layout one setting at a time to find the scale/monitor combination that triggers it. This gives a reversible workaround and rules out a damaged workbook or installation.
