Close and Load fails
Excel 2016 - new query from file, i browse to local text file, the file loads into query window, then load and close prompts error - "initialization of data source failed". this error happens whenev...
Try loading only 1st row, for instance - to see if anything loads at all. That's because it's possible that top rows are fine (and therefore they load in the query editor) but somewhere lower down in the file there are some data transformation errors or something else.
That's why try loading (Kepp top x rows) just a few rows and take it from there.
If you are unable to load any amount of data (however small) from any data source - then it sounds like some installation issue to me.
