Clear All under Data Validation
Does anyone know how to remove the drop downs from a column? I have already tried the Clear All under the Data Validation but the drop down still remains. I am using Office 365 Excel version 1807.

Hi Mike,
Select that column, then go to Data >> Data Tools >> Data Validation
If a message box pops up as shown in the below screenshot, click No.
After that, click Clear All button and then hit OK.

Haytham AmairahThanks, that cleared up the annoying message that keeps popping up. Now I can read/enter data without having to see that.
- Janet_CarrollMar 31, 2020Copper ContributorHello. I am having the same problem and had already tried what you suggested. The list itself has cleared but the list on the title cell stubbornly remains. Do you have any suggestions please? Janet

Hi,
It might be an issue with that cell!
Could you attach the worksheet you're working on or a sample of it, to find out the problem?
