Check symbol in drop down list
I want to have the check and cross symbol appear in the drop down list. I have created two cells, one with the check symbol (Wingdings font) and cross symbol (Wingdings font). When are create the dr...
The Data Validation drop down list uses a regular font. not Wingdings.
The check mark and cross symbol are not part of the font Excel uses.
You might use the square root symbol √ and the upper case X instead.
