Changing the Value of Option Buttons
Please help me change the value of the first of two option buttons from a "1" to a "0" and the second from a "2" to a "1". Regards Terry
Terry_Twala Allow me to be simple. If you have 2 buttons in your sheet the linked cell will display which button was pressed. I.e. either the first or the second. button Not the -zero-th or the first. If it is important that you must use a 0 or a 1 then take the value of the linked cell minus 1. Thus, 1 becomes 0 and 2 becomes 1.

Terry_Twala It's not clear what you're talking about. A screenshot or an upload of your file would really help.

Hi Savia, I'm not sure if a screenshot would be able clarify. But when you assign a button to a cell using "Format Control" - after right-clicking on the button, each button gets allocated value starting with 1 for the first button, 2 for the second, 3 the third and so on. This is the default setting. I am just using two buttons for a "Yes" and a "No" and I would like them to be a 1 and a 0 respectively. I hope this gives better clarity.
