Changing the default Note font in Excel, macOS
I enter many Notes in my Excel workbooks and would like to change the default Note font. Having to enter the Note and then highlight the text and then change the font type and size each time is a pain.
Is there any way for users to globally change the default font for Notes in Excel ?

I was recently forced to purchase the newer 64-bit version of Microsoft Office Home 2024 after upgrading my iMac OS from Mojave to Ventura. I previously used Office 2011 and it did everything I needed. The newer version of Excel (16.92) creates notes/comments with a different font, different font size, and different box appearance from the old version, and as AGD21 points out, there is no way to change the defaults. I have to highlight the text and change font type and size each time I create a note. Even when I add notes to a huge workbook that already has hundreds of notes that I created using Office 2011, the new notes display in a different font and size. There is no way to make all notes in one workbook or worksheet look the same.

Clearly with 320+ views and no replies this is an issue that Microsoft won't even address. I too am having this problem and it is so frustrating AGD21
