Change in Copy/Paste functionality?

On Monday I could do the following and now I cannot:

Copy cell from Worksheet #1

Type in cell on Worksheet #2

Paste copied data from Worksheet #1 into Worksheet #2

 

Now, once I type data into Worksheet #2, it seems to forget the data that I have copied from Worksheet #1 and I have to go back to Worksheet #1 and copy again in order to paste into Worksheet #2.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

    Hey Christina,

     

    I reached out to our IT Department, and this is the answer I received:

     

    "It was a feature called "Keep the Copy" -  they got rid of it because too many people complained to Microsoft so they are redesigning it and bringing it back later - no date yet."

     

    I don't know about you, but this SUCKS for me!!!! I really need that feature back!

    if someone can PLEASE provide an answer to Christina, it would be greatly appreciated.  I use the same feature constantly and the fact that it is now mysteriously "disabled" is killing my work day!!!
