change defaults for conditional formatting
Is there a way to change the defaults for conditional formatting?

What do you mean under defaults?
Sorry, I meant Table Formatting. I have some fairly large column headers downloaded with the data from a provider. I have "Wrap Text" and narrow columns. But when I format as table, regardless of the template, I get full width columns. Would be great to set wrap text as custom table format option.

If you have your column formatted with wrap text, after that press Ctrl+T to convert it to table, cells within the table also will be formatted with wrap text, width of the column will be the same. Or you do that some other way?
I have been using the button option for conditional formatting. I will try Cntr T and see how that works.
