Center a table

I have followed the instructions on how to center a table vertically and horizontally but the print preview of my table doesn't change.  What am I doing wrong?

    How did you do it?

    These are the steps, did you try this?
    1) Select your table
    2) Go to Page Layout, select the Dialog box (right corner) in the page-setup
    3) Go to Margins and select horizontally and vertically.

      Thankyou for your message. Yes, I followed those steps and when I ticked horizontally and vertically it brings up the margins but the left one is much bigger. If I change that margin to match the others it is centred on the preview but when it prints it’s not. I can’t work out why that’s happening.
