Cell Value Based on another cell
Hello,
I am needing some assistance with figuring this out.
In cell C3 I need a starting time (7am, 3pm, 11p,) based on the shift that is entered into cell J3 (S1, S2, S3). Then I want to copy and paste it down the rest of column C so that whatever is entered in the J cell returns a time value to the corresponding C cell.
This seems like it should be straight forward and easy but for the life of me cannot figure it out.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
In C3:
=IFS(J3="S1", TIME(7, 0, 0), J3="S2", TIME(15, 0, 0), J3="S3", TIME(23, 0, 0), TRUE, "")
Fill down as far as you want.
