Cell Types and Cell formats

Question

HiFor my work we use a spreadsheet with a colour coding system for our clients, we have a column for dates, which the cell format is dates, however when changing for example from yellow to green this changes as I have the cell format for each colour as accounting, just wondered if there is a way to stop the dates changing cell format to accounting, when I change the cell type.&nbsp;Thanks

JKPieterse great thanks so if I create my own view for the column with initials in and decide to filter that to my initial that would just show for me and no one else, and they could work on their own view with out affecting eachother

How exactly do you "change the cell type"? Can you post a screen-shot of before and after?

JKPieterseAs you can see in the first screenshot the cell type is the yellow invited, in the second it is green and renewed, however the cell format changes to accounting. I want all other cells to be accounting format but the date one to stay as date.Thanks&nbsp;&nbsp;JKPieterse&nbsp;
