cell formatting
I recently switched from Windows to Mac, and Excel has been behaving a little differently for me.
The format painter is only available from the home tab, and I used to be able to just click on the cell I wanted to copy and use the right mouse key to select the format paintbrush either once or twice depending on how many cells I wanted to copy the formatting to. Now I have to navigate to the home menu to select the format painter, which takes longer.
My question is: can I edit the menu for the right hand button on the mouse to include the format painter?

Martha95 Not that I know of. I switched from Mac to Windows some two years ago, but still use Macs with Excel. You'll find that Excel for the Mac is not quite the same. Though, for regular or even quite advanced use, it will be no problem. Some specific (more advanced) features aren't up to the same level as the PC version, but the Mac version is catching up. Most recently, Power Query came to the Mac. A major step forward, I thought. But, as you discovered, the look and feel are different.
