Cell Format will not show formmula result just the formula
I am placing a XLOOKUP formula in a workbook and all I get in the cell is the formula itself. When copied down in the range the relative references also do not change.

1) Check that the cell with the formula is NOT formatted as Text
2) Check that the Show Formulas button in the Formula Auditing group of the Formulas tab of the ribbon is NOT highlighted.

Make sure that there is no space or line break at the beginning of the formula. = should be the first character.
If that doesn't help:
Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?
