Caps lock excel
Hi
i'm a last year student working on my thesis. I have a lot of data on paper that has to be converted to excel. I'm working with macbook air so I don't have a keypad. Is there a way to type numbers without using the shift key? Caps lock doesn't seem to work on excel. Can somebody help me pls?

- mathetesGold ContributorNot sure what you're saying here. There's no need to use the shift key to type numbers on a MacBook Air. There's a row of numbers above the letters, as in a normal keyboard; yes, there's no separate "numbers only" area off to the right....you can get an accessory "Numeric Keypad" if that's important. Could you clarify for us?
(For the record, Caps lock does work with letters in Excel.)
