can't drag to change row height or column width
excel won't allow me to select the boundary of a row or column to drag it to the height or width I want. It never gives me the cross, only highlights the cell.
To change row height by dragging, move the mouse pointer over the bottom edge of the row number at the left side of the worksheet, not over the bottom edge of a cell:
Then click, hold and drag.
Similarly, to change column width by dragging, move the mouse pointer over the right edge of the column letter at the top of the worksheet:
