cannot open Excel sheet as data source in Publisher
Have Excel sheet with names, addresses, etc and want to use as data source for catalog in Publisher. Publisher gives error 'data source contains no table'. Any help would be appreciated.
I guess Publisher wants to see structured table in Excel and you have the range with headers, isn't it?
SergeiBaklan I solved the problem. To merge a picture from Excel into Publisher the Excel cell must contain the file name with extension. To mail merge a picture from Excel into a Word document the Excel cell need contain only the file name. That was confusing, but finally realized that difference was the problem.
