Cannot convert CSV file
Hi guys, I am looking for some assistance. Part oy my job requires me to check invoices for our third parties. Sometimes, this means I need to pull CSV files from vendor portals to get the linear data of an invoice. I normally have no issue with this as I use the Data > Text to Columns function, but I have an issue with a CSV file that I've downloaded as the format is unrecognisable per the screenshot image I've provided. Has anyone seen this before and if so, can you assist in guidance of how to convert this into a readable format ?
A CSV file is a plain text file that can be read in any text editor. The file in your screenshot is clearly not plain text, even if its extension is .csv
- Issue resolved by using 7-zip to extract the file, but I appreciate your help...
