Cannot add image to Header in Excel - Bad Request error

Another solution I found if you are working on the desktop app is to go into File>Options>General>Privacy Settings>and unclick turn on optional connected experiences. Once you get the picture in, you can turn it back on but you do have to restart office for each. I am teaching Excel and both one of my students and I had the same problem so it may be fairly common.

Hello dfountain86, I am not sure if this is the solution, but, yesterday I changed the default browser and HTTP to Edge then today I changed back to Chrome. After that, the header is working all right. I could insert the logo I would like. It seems to me that I reset Chrome by doing so... just guessing. Now, it is working.

This solved a similar but slightly different issue I have been having in Excel. I would receive the same error message when trying to insert an image into a Note box within Excel. Thank you for sharing your solution!
