Another solution I found if you are working on the desktop app is to go into File>Options>General>Privacy Settings>and unclick turn on optional connected experiences. Once you get the picture in, you can turn it back on but you do have to restart office for each. I am teaching Excel and both one of my students and I had the same problem so it may be fairly common.

Looks like changing the default browser from Edge to chrome then waiting over night worked. IF you have this issue but your default browser is already chrome. Change it to edge and wait overnight then try it again. Then change it back to chrome and wait if that did not work.

Is there any new fixes for this? I haven't been able to fix this issue yet.
- dfountain86Feb 23, 2024Copper ContributorAs far as I can tell it fixed it self. If you are still having this issue try what was mentioned above. Also check for updates. You can also try connecting to a diffrent network. For instance I had one user who would have this issue in the office but not at home. We suspected it was the DNS cause only one office was having this issue and another wasn't. We set the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and that might have helped. However, I cannot confirm that.
