Can you add a Saved Date to the Header?

Excel does not provide a native header or footer field to display the last saved date of a workbook. The built‑in options are limited to inserting the current print date and time, the file name, or the file path. If it is necessary to include the last saved date for version control or audit purposes, this functionality must be implemented through a workaround such as a VBA macro.
