calculating percentages
I am trying to calculate percentage change from last fiscal year using (G2-F2)/F2 on revenue But on expenses with a negative number it calculates incorrectly Any suggestions? Thanks, ...

- Use this Formula:
=(G2-F2)/ABS(F2)
| -267 | 512 | 2.917603 |
Note: When you enter (267), Excel will convert it as -267 ( the rule,, value in parenthesis is negative value ). Cell format is GENERAL.
