Calculating Change required
Good evening all,
I hope this hasn't been asked recently ( I couldn't find an answer after a few searches and hence thought I'd post my question here)
I was wondering if there is a way to set up a formula or set of formulas in order for Excel to automatically calculate the change needed to create a monetary value (e.g, £16.50 would be made up of 1 x £10 Note, 1 x £5 Note, 1x £1 Coin and 1 x £0.50 coin. Or £4 would be made up from 4 x £1 Coin)?
Basically I'm using Excel in order to sort tips out for staff at work, and whilst I can manually do this stage relatively simply without the use of Excel I was curious as to how Excel could be used to do this step for me?
Please don't hesitate to contact me for more information if required as I am not sure if I have described it in the best possible way!
Many Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing any suggestions!

- Wobster_3Copper ContributorThankyou so much!! I will spend some time picking the formula apart so I fully understand what is going on here but this is exactly what I was after so thankyou very much!
